Terms

The service

No Stairs Please publishes research about small and mid-size live music venues, for musicians who book their own gigs. We do not book shows, and we do not speak for any venue.

Accounts

• An account needs a verified email address or Google sign-in.
• An account is for one person. Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Free access and reveals

No account

Anyone can browse the map and list of every venue. Visitors who are not signed in get 4 reveals per network, one time, shared by everyone on that network.

Free account

Opens the free details of every venue: website, social links, band list, room and stage, and photos. It saves favorites to your account and gives 10 reveals, one time.

Reveal

Opens one venue’s contacts, show dates and booking days for 7 days. Reveals do not refill.

All Access

All Access opens the full record of every venue, every filter, performer search and artist pages.

One month

$25 USD, paid once, for one calendar month.

One year

$200 USD, paid once, for one calendar year.

• Stripe processes each payment. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.
• Access starts when Stripe confirms the payment. It ends at the same time of day on the same date one month or one year later. When that date does not exist in the final month, access ends on that month’s last day.
• If you buy again while access is active, the new period starts when the current one ends.
• The account page shows when access ends, with a receipt for each purchase.
• If a payment is reversed or disputed, the access it bought is paused.

The research

Venue records are research from public sources: the venues’ own websites, calendars and social posts.

Sources go stale, and research can be incomplete or wrong. A listing is not an offer of work. Confirm details with the venue before you rely on them. We do not promise that the directory lists every venue or that any venue will book you.

Report errors to team@nostairsplease.com.

Acceptable use

• Use venue contacts to pitch live music. Do not send bulk or automated mail to them.
• Do not resell or republish the directory or revealed records, and do not share your access with others.
• Do not scrape the site, automate requests, or work around reveal limits, sign-in or payment checks.
• Do not use the site to harass venues or their staff, or to break the law.

No warranty

The site and its data are provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, No Stairs Please is not liable for losses that come from using the site or relying on its data.

Changes and contact

When these terms change, the effective date at the top changes with them. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms. Send questions to team@nostairsplease.com.
