Use with ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini
Connect No Stairs Please to ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. Your AI gets live access to the most up-to-date small music venue database in the United States, with researched rooms, real show listings, multi-stop tour routing, and verified booking contacts in all 50 states.
What you can do with it
General AI models guess at small-town music venues from outdated training data. Connecting the No Stairs Please MCP server lets your AI search real, source-backed records from venue websites, calendars, and social posts.
- Route multi-stop tours
- Give your AI a sequence of stops (such as
Seattle, WA -> Spokane, WA -> Missoula, MT -> Boise, ID -> Salt Lake City, UT). The MCP server calculates the real driving corridor along the highway, lists every matching venue in stop-to-stop progression order, and gives you a one-click link that opens the drawn route directly on the No Stairs Please map. - Filter by capacity & night
- Ask for 50-to-200 capacity listening rooms, breweries, or dive bars that book original music on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
- Find where bands played
- Look up any band or solo songwriter across every listed show to see which rooms booked them, what dates they played, and who shared the bill.
- Sync your Favorites
- Save promising venues straight from ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini into your No Stairs Please Favorites list, or ask your AI to build a routing sheet from the venues you already starred on the map.
Managing booking emails with your AI
When you pair No Stairs Please with an email integration in ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini (or an email agent that reads and drafts from your inbox), your AI assistant can handle the repetitive legwork of receiving, fielding, and sending out booking emails.
- Sending out pitches
- Instead of copying and pasting addresses one by one, ask your AI to pull the dedicated music-booking email (kept separate from general and private-event contacts), check the room’s usual music nights, capacity, and recent bands, and draft or send out personalized hold requests for each stop on your route.
- Receiving & fielding replies
- When a booker replies with available dates, a question about your set, or a request for local support acts, your AI can cross-reference the venue’s record in No Stairs Please, check how the new date fits your driving route between towns, and prepare a reply or update your tour calendar.
- Following up
- Ask your AI to check which venues on your saved route haven’t replied after 10 days, verify their booking window and secondary contacts in No Stairs Please, and queue polite follow-up emails.
